The Montana Council is excited to welcome Alex Crawford as a new District Executive serving the Mountain Valley District. Alex will work with Senior District Executive Renee Stephens to deliver the Scouting program to families within the district.
“Born and raised in the Gallatin Valley, I grew up spending most of my time outdoors. Never wanting to leave, I went to Montana State University and graduated with a degree in Environmental Science.
I was involved in Scouts in Belgrade, achieving my Eagle in 2020. I worked for the Montana Outdoor High Adventure Base (MOHAB) for eight years, starting in 2018. A program that offers week-long backpacking and packrafting trips in the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex. I served as Trek Director for four years.
Now I spend as much time as I can trail running, floating, mountain biking, fishing, climbing, skiing, and backpacking in the Bozeman area. I am super excited to continue working with Scouts and the community within!”
