Welcome Linda Schultz To Team 315

Billings Store Associate

Linda Schultz has accepted our Billings part-time store associate position.  We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the extra help in Billings.

Linda was born in Deer Lodge, Montana, and grew up in a close-knit family with three sisters and two brothers. Her early years were shaped by a strong connection to scouting. Both of her brothers were actively involved in Boy Scouts, and her father served as a dedicated pack leader throughout their participation. His commitment to the program had a lasting influence on Linda’s family.

Shortly after her birth, she relocated to Billings due to her father’s job, followed by brief periods in Lewistown and eventually Forsyth, Montana, where they settled. During these years, both of her parents remained deeply involved in scouting—her father as a leader and, later, her mother as well. Their dedication continued until her father started his own business, at which point their professional commitments required them to step away from scouting leadership.

Linda graduated from Forsyth High School in 1985 and went on to attend the University of Montana, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology in 1989. She is currently furthering her education by pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration through the University of Phoenix.

Professionally, she has built a diverse career, including work in Case Management with the Department of Corrections, followed by 15 years in the retail industry. These experiences have allowed her to develop strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.

In 1993, she became a single parent to her son, one of the most meaningful roles of her life. He joined scouting as a Tiger Scout and progressed through the Bear level. During this time, Linda served as his pack leader, an experience she found incredibly rewarding. One of the aspects she cherished most was the opportunity to spend quality time with her son while contributing to his growth and development.

Although she stepped away from scouting for several years, she recently reconnected with the organization after joining the store in Billings. Linda is excited to once again be part of a program that has played such a significant role in both her family’s history and her personal journey.

Welcome, Linda! We’re glad to have you on Team 315!
