Well, it’s no secret at all. Our success comes from a powerful combination: highly motivated Scouts & parents, high-adventure opportunities for units, thoughtful unit planning, and a friendly staff of experienced and dedicated Popcorn Kernels. Together, you’ve helped build a program that delivers exciting results.

If you didn’t already know, popcorn sales directly support the unit, with every dollar raised helping reduce the financial burden on Scouting families. When you purchase popcorn from a Scout, you’re not just buying popcorn — you’re providing opportunities.
And it’s about more than just sales. Fundraising teaches valuable life skills:
- Responsibility – When Scouts help fund their adventures, they’re more invested.
- Financial literacy – Budgeting and handling money builds confidence and capability.
- Salesmanship – Scouts can earn merit badges in Salesmanship and Entrepreneurship, and the experience of talking face-to-face in today’s digital world is incredibly important.

Our popcorn team has worked hard to offer exciting new items to the popcorn prize line-up and simplify some of the online paperwork. To stay on top of everything, we highly encourage all Kernels to watch our online training to stay informed.
