What’s New to K-M in 2016

In an effort to keep things fresh and exciting for our Scouts at camp, every year we make some changes to our camp programs. The difficulty comes in trying to get that information to the scouts and leaders across the council. So, over the next several issues of the Montana Trails newsletters, I will be releasing a series of articles outlining the changes that are coming to K-M Scout Ranch in the coming year.

ATV Expansion
We are happy to announce the expansion of our ATV course. This spring we will be adding five more miles of trail which now gives us over ten miles for you to explore. We have acquired eight new size 200 Polaris ATV’s and in addition to the two Honda 250’s that we already have, we can now support two full classes of ATV training. Just make sure you are ready to ride!

C.O.P.E. Course
Over the last few years we have been developing our COPE course by adding new and challenging elements in our high route. The last few elements of our High COPE Course will be completed this spring. Come experience the thrill of challenges like the Cat Walk, Vine Cross and Commando Crawl at thirty feet above the ground! With our already completed low course we will now truly have a Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience.

We hope to see you at camp this year and I look forward to sharing with you more of the new opportunities at K-M in 2016 in future articles.
