District Overview
The Buffalo Plains District services both Roosevelt and Valley counties. It covers approximately 7,400 square miles in the northeastern part of the state. Our population base is 17,000 people based on the 2010 U.S. census. The Buffalo Plains District also includes the Fort Peck Indian Reservation.
