Hello, Friends –
As the year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on all we’ve accomplished together over the past twelve months. When you read this, we will have surpassed last year’s membership numbers and are making a final push to meet our year-end fundraising goals.
First and foremost, I want to wish each of you a very happy holiday season. May you find joy and warmth in the company of family, friends, and the spirit of the holidays.
Secondly, if you are inclined to do so, we would sincerely appreciate a year-end gift to Scouting. In 2024, we delivered more scholarships for members than any year in our council’s history. We could use the additional assistance in reaching our fundraising for 2024.
The council invests $300 per Scout to deliver programs across Montana’s cities and towns. If you’re moved to contribute, every gift makes a difference and is deeply appreciated. You can give online at www.scoutingmontana.org/support.
Scouting in Montana is strong. Not only because of our positive growth in membership or the life-changing programs we’ve built, but because of the unwavering belief in what we do. Our members, alumni, and local citizens understand the critical importance of making a difference which is desperately needed in today’s youth. The simple yet priceless lessons in servant leadership are the skills that will propel our state and nation forward. Nobody can do this alone. It takes all of us.
As we reflect on the impact we’ve made together, I want to express my deepest gratitude. Whether you wear a uniform every week or give generously of your time and resources, your contribution is essential, and we are profoundly thankful.
May this season bring you peace, joy, and the satisfaction of knowing you are helping to make a meaningful difference.
Scout on!
